Ad-lantis?


Ivar's Seafood Restaurant in Seattle dropped billboards underwater for an elaborate marketing hoax. The restaurant claimed to have placed the billboards decades ago thinking people would be traveling underwater by 2009. Ivar's resurfaced the billboards, then slashed chowder to its 1950s' price. The stunt worked, quadrupling their chowder sales. (via AdRants)
